Terms of Service

1. The service
Cloudforge is a free browser game, currently in alpha: it is a public test. The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of availability, continuity or data retention.
2. Alpha version: what you accept
- Your progress may be reset (full or partial wipe) at the move to beta or when needed for balancing.
- Mechanics, values and content will change frequently, even retroactively.
- Outages, bugs and data loss may occur.
3. Account
A valid email is required. One account per person; multiple accounts used to gain an advantage (multi-accounting) may be removed. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
4. Conduct
The following are not allowed: insults, harassment or offensive content in names, messages or guild descriptions; bots, automated scripts or bug exploits (bugs must be reported, in-game or on Discord); any illegal activity. Violations may lead to suspension or removal of the account, at the developer's sole discretion.
5. Ownership
The game, its name, graphics and content belong to the developer. Interface icons come from game-icons.net (CC-BY 3.0 licence). What you write in the game remains yours, but you authorise us to show it to other players as part of the service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from use of the game, from unavailability of the service or from loss of game data.
7. Changes
These terms may change during the alpha; substantial changes will be announced in-game or on Discord. Continuing to play counts as acceptance.
